I'm satisfied with the weight loss, but am befuddled by my poor workout performance this morning. I had a good week, ate well, all decent workouts, plenty of rest and sleep, and then this morning for no apparent reason I had one of the worst workouts to date. I generally can pinpoint the issue, like lack of sleep, poor diet, unusual weight gain...but notta. Has anyone else experience a "horrible" decline in workout performance for no reason? I was off over 25%, and had an optimistic attitude going in, and dismissed the first few failures as flukes, but that didn't turn out to be the case. I'm interested in hearing your experiences.

Good loss - if that is your goal. Low workout days, for me, are usually about the QUALITY of my sleep - so although I may think I slept well, I didn't and my body is tired. Also if I work out too many days in a row, I will be fatigued during weight work. Rest is essential for me.

You need both Rest (sleep 7 to 8 hours) & Repair. Make sure you give the “muscle” group at least 36 to 48 hours repair time.

If you ever find a solution to this, please post it! Hopefully I will see the post.
