Daaaaaaaaaaaamn!

I'm glad I know what Indulgence Day can do to one's weigh-in! LOL.

I am up 2.3 kgs today! That's 5 lbs for you Americans!

No need to panic though, it's all according to plan. It keeps my body on it's toes, and promotes a healthy pace weight loss.

Yesterday was an awesome day.

Wife and I went to Copenhagen, and had the greatest of time. We met up with my nephew, who's in his mid twenties, and his girlfriend. They're a super nice couple and all of us always really enjoy the company, we just don't get to do it enough.

After that, we went to eat at a super nice restaurant. It's was a herzegovenian (spellcheck?) restaurant, offering a killer Christmas buffet. We loved it, but were SO disappointed that we couldn't eat more than we could. The greatest of nights. Then the waiter came with the bill. It turns out that we mis-read the prices, and it came out 100 kroner (appros 20 dollars) more per person. Damn! The total price tag for two buffets, two diet cokes and a pitcher of water was around 130 dollars. We had two plates of food each. LOL.

I gotta say that - even before we new the real price tag - we had agreed that this was probably the best food we had had at ANY restaurant in Denmark. Ever. And this time we could laugh it off, as we actually had the money for it.

Afterwards, we went to ye ole amusement park Tivoli, which had a great Russion Christmas theme for the holidays.

We didn't really eat anything, but had glögg, a nice, hot drink made with red wine, rum, raisins, almonds, cloves and other spices. Super nice, but not TOO good on the calories. Then again, it was Indulgence Day.

I calculated things fairly well, and ended up at 3700 calories, 100 over goal. That's fine.

It was the perfect day.

Today I am rocking with Burnin' Live, unless it starts snowing. We transport the drums and my gear on a trailer, so it's crucial that it stays dry, obviously. We need a better solution for this.

I have 2300 calories available today. That is more than plenty, and I'm not sure I will reach that. Going out playing music completely takes the attention (and options) away from food and snacks. That's a good thing.

EDIT: No rockin' today. There is a heavy snow storm attacking Denmark. At least, it's heavy compared to what we Danes are used to. Canadians and Alaskans are probably gonna think we're a bunch of sissies. This picture was taken early this morning, before things really took off. Not a chance I'm gonna go out to take an updated on. Anyways, we had to cancel music as both drummer and guitarists are living in the country and the roads are closed.

I took these as we walked to the store for a few things.

So, instead of rockin' out today, I spent 30 minutes on the stationary bike, to compensate for potential attack of hot chocolate later today. It's that kind of day. Good movies, candles, hot chocolate.

END OF EDIT.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Gaining 2.3 kilos! Makes me feel ALIVE! I wonder how fast they'll come off again? I hope I'll be under 90 again soon. I liked it there.
- Morning coffee, watching The Rite.
- The best restaurant dinner EVER yesterday.
- Wife. She most beautiful girl in the world. Want proof? Look below!

Great day. Great company. Great food. Who could ask for more?! Now, ahem .... About the snow storm ... You need to add North Idaho to the list of individuals who might consider you Danish snowstorm just a tad mild!!! LOL!! Enjoy your day Keld.

Mind you, Moose, this was the very beginning. Not gonna go out for more pics. lol. Still, it has stopped and it's calming down. Still a good reason to stay indoor and watch movies.

We got dumped on by snow last night here in MN (6+ inches) and it's still snowing! Definitely makes for a cozy indoor day...
