I ate 3600 so not at all, hehe. It was my highest day until yesterday where I had 4k.

Yeah, I got forced to stay over an extra 4 hours so I won't be getting home until 11am. It's fine though, it's 4am here and I feel great.

Yeah- not sure where you live- just always under the impression its far away. Maybe you've told Diablo. I will make sure you have plenty of milk. I am not sure that flying would be cheaper- I didn't want you to take one of the buses. One day... maybe

I’m hypoglycemic so I can’t. That’s why I eat what I eat and it’s working. Good to learn though. That’s why I love this place and I do love your and Chris’ posts.

Jheeden, when you're hypoglycemic, what do you eat? (I'm hyper -- T2 diabetic -- and have never had to deal with hypoglycemia unless, I take too much insulin.)

A deficit is a deficit. If you need to avoid certain foods for health reasons, that is one thing and you should keep that up, but carbs don't create energy from thin air. Gram for gram carbs have less than 1/2 the ability to create extra body fat compared to a gram of fat.

Ironically it’s much like a diabetic diet. When carbs / sugar hit my system, my pancreas overreacts and dumps too much insulin. I get shaky, dizzy and killer headaches. When that happens you chase it with more carbs / quick calories and it snowballs. Calories quickly get out of control and I get fat. So that’s why I do what I do. I had a glucose tolerance test that measured my blood glucose level every hour for 6 hours after drinking a pure sugar drink. My level before drinking it was 89 and 6 hours later was 39. So now I eat lots of protein, fat and low glycemic fruits and vegetables. It’s why I’ve lost 9 inches in my waist in the last 18 months and everything else has been fantastic, including bloodwork. The lesson I have learned is listen to my body and don’t be stubborn. We all have unique DNA and it just depends. I am so happy I discovered my problem and it has changed my life!
