Most of that will be water weight so please don't get disheartened. Watch that internal dialogue and make sure that it is as kind to you as it would be to anyone else.

Thank you all for your kind comments. @moopie321, I don't have Instagram. @ketovan, my internal dialogue hasn't been very positive. Thanks for the reminder to watch that and to love myself even when I am falling short of what I think I should be doing. TEN pounds in 3 weeks is hard to feel positive about, though. @gingrins, I know you speak for a lot of people, and I appreciate you all! @jcmama777, thanks for the reminder. I'm STILL not back on track. I am able to START the days positively most days, but by the late afternoon or evening, I throw it all away. If I am not "dieting," I am GAINING. Success seems so far beyond my grasp right now. Depression is a major factor. I THOUGHT about going to the doctor today to see if I need a medication change; but I didn't go. Maybe Monday. The depression makes me eat, and the eating makes me depressed - vicious circcle!

I wish that I could just hug you right now.

Hang in there. Definitely follow up with your doctor if your depression medication is not effective. Remember, depression is a chemical imbalance and not a sign of weakness or something you can think your way out of. Hugs

awww, @ketovegan, I consider myself hugged! `Thanks, @shiny50 - having suffered with "atypical depressive disorder" for the past 26+ years, I know it's just a medical condition that needs medications to resolve the deficiencies. It's been about a year since my last "tweaking," so I'll probably make that call on Monday!
