Day 3 of a planned 3 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

I didn’t 🏋🏾‍♂️ lift weights yesterday. I met all my other goals. Just didn’t feel like going to the gym.

Apparently I am in a ‘screw-it mode’. This would be a bit of concern, but we are off to vacation in the Bahamas next month and I know I wont ‘let myself go’ completely before then, because I will actually have my shirt off most of the time - - and why would I work so hard only to get fat right before vacation??

My plan is to get fat on vacation! 😜

Seriously, I wanted to get down to 160 pounds so that I could easily gain 15 pounds by getting ‘out of control’ for a week. My plan was to let go and eat 🍔 hamburgers and 🍟 fries and still come back under 180 pounds.

But, now I’m sitting at 169 pounds and barely able to budge the scale…

Do I change my plans? Screw it. So I go back over 180 pounds, who cares. I know how to lose weight. I need to do my normal ‘no solid food fast’, but, not ‘carb out’ and gain weight on the weekends 😁.

The problem is not 'knowledge'. Anyone can look at their Fat Secret log, see when they lose weight, and just do that thing, whatever it is. Motivation is the issue here...

However, if I blow up to 180 pounds, I know I will find the ‘motivation’ to get back on track…

Ditto the better half's comments, also you can eat very well on vacation AND come back with less weight and body fat...workout, nap, eat/drink well, repeat. #no-distractions, #kill-it.

Wow, adef, you expect to gain up to 15 pounds in one week? I would freak at gaining 5 lbs - but you are much more successful at taking weight back off than I am. Still - 15 lbs???

Adefwebserver, I know what you mean, I have also lost my motivation, maybe because we feel comfortable with the weight we are at.🤷‍♀️
