It’s water. It’s water. It’s water. Not lunch at the smoothie place. It’s water. Not the subway sandwich. It’s water. Not the cookie and fun size snickers. It’s water ;). See now we both believe it!

So far I’m not that sore from yesterday’s workout. First 2 times back I did 8-12 reps, 3 sets of most of the machines. Not a high weight but not that low either. One was 15 I think and the others ranged 30-70#. Yesterday I went as high as I could go and still do 2-4 sets of 4-8 reps. One I stopped at 3 rather than have muscle failure that I’ve read about. My weights ranged 15 for the one that hurts my shoulders but 30 on that last set. The rest were 50-80 mostly with the back machine being 100 (lower back DOES hurt but it hurt after 70# too so 🤷‍♀️) and leg press 130#. If I can’t do my weight on leg press then I have no business being there in my opinion. I’d like to work up to doing my body weight worth on bench press but that and the other press machine mess with my shoulder and really pull at my scars. Perhaps I can use them to build up then move to the actual bench. Either way I have a long road ahead.
118.8 lb Lost so far: 41.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sounds like you’re killing it. 💪😍😍😍 I keep trying to harness my inner Chris and D and just kill the wt sessions. But I end up being sore af and getting three sets down. On smaller weights. 🤣

Thanks guys! I’m behind where I was but the same or ahead of when I started last year so not too bad. The soreness gets me so I’m hoping by trying it this way I won’t be as sore. Maybe I’ll get used to the movements again soon. I’m working on size first then strength. My plan is to do a few weeks with short sets of high weights then switch to a few weeks of more reps and sets with lower weights. The latter makes me more sore but the former wears me out much quicker.

Thanks Chris! I bought one for hubby but he won’t take it to the gym for some reason. His back gets out of wack easily so I was hoping it would help. I considered trying it but I bought it for him and he’s twice my size so I think it would be too big. If love to hear if it works!
