Day 21 36 Hours Fasted (mostly)
Late night competitive chicken cooking with #1 son necessitated sampling. Obviously. For science. ~200k. Last spring I sampled at will while cooking and was consistently able to keep it to a couple hundred calories and put together some extended (for me) "fasts." Obviously preferable to not snack. But if I do, it doesn't mean that I must continue eating, as has been my typical past behavior.
Shoulder/neck angry af yesterday. This is happening after every refeed/lapse. I'm guessing inflammatory foods, specifically sugars/cereal. Also get morning "fat face" from eating at my buddy's pizza joint. Suspect that that is something other than carbs, as I can eat keto there and have the same result. Capped off Saturday's refeed with one of his pizzas, thereby garnering the double whammy yesterday. Better but still sh^t this morning.
CBD def helps, but not a cure. Also expensive. I went through the bulk of my $150 buy in less than a week. If anybody has a hookup for bulk discount CBD, I am all ears.
Shoulder/Neck mobility is significantly improved. Holding time and depth on reverse namaste are both up. Mobility on other stretches is also improved. Pain is not. I am missing something. Staying in one position - standing desk, driving, meditation - for any significant period of time is challenging, which is fcuking up my roll.
Nuff whining. Not sure it helped, but not sure it didn't, so ordering up a new pair of inversion boots and gonna get back to daily hanging. Also still need to get my pillow right. And higher potency, lower cost CBD.
