Toni Bourlon's Journal, 25 March 2019

So, weight's back up. Mostly my fault, because I took a staycation over the past 10 days & celebrated my birthday at Olive Garden. So I'm back at work today, & back to work on the weight. Hopefully I'll have it back down to where it was by the end of this week, we'll see.

The Go Girl Run OKC was on the 23rd, but I was unable to run the half-marathon because of low back pain. (STILL feeling some of that, maybe I need new shoes?) I was afraid I'd get about halfway through, and be in so much pain I wouldn't be able to finish the run. This is the 2nd half-marathon I've had to bail on because of injury. Maybe I'm just not meant to run one of those. I switched to the 5K & completed that run at least, in 39 minutes. Not my best time, but not the worst either. Anyway, I got a nice t-shirt, finisher medal and this wine glass! Plus I realize I've actually run an unofficial Triple Crown for 2019 - three 5K races so far this year, woo hoo! I'm sure I'll run a few more before the year is over, once I get my back straightened out.
153.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Happy birthday to you. Olive garden sounds like a great place to celebrate it. And good job on your run. Wonder if the Finish make any wine?
