My scale was mean to me today! Admittedly, this is scary. 6 pounds in one day is impossible to gain- it’s water 💧... I had a salt lick for breakfast lunch and dinner yesterday! But, I’m going to be honest: this weight is the highest I’ve been in about 10 months, and I’m sad. I’ve gained back 21 pounds from where I was in August. I truly feel bummed out right now. But I know what to do. I did it once and I will do it again.
But, I’m going to keep a couple little tweaks like a few beers a week, and some bread (Ezekiel). I omitted beer from my diet for 9 months, and then I just went crazy with it since October. My father was a small scale vintner, and home brew was his passion. India Pale Ale’s - especially double barreled- are 200 calories a bottle. I need to keep my calories at 1300-1500 and so a bunch of beer a week doesn’t work. I’m gonna have to keep it low. I refuse to drink light beer. What’s the point?
Grocery shopping day is today. We just got a new refrigerator yesterday and it looks huge. Tons of cupboards, tons of drawers etc... Our new one is a big French door style Whirlpool. Freezer is on the bottom. Never had anything like it before. I just had a thought: I could bless our new refrigerator. Give it good juju. Set it up for meal prepping and great choices. I’m going to think about what this new fridges energy is as I shop today. 🤔
