Did you see the pictures I posted?

I dunno - eat something salty? Stress muscles? The body loves its water and seems to want to hoard it at the slightest provocation. :/

I had some chips yesterday and a subway sandwich. Maybe that’s it. I didn’t check sodium for yesterday.

start taking creatine👍 then you will know all about water retention hahahaha

4300 mg of sodium yesterday! I’m good without taking more stuff. If it’s cheap and comes in a gummy I would think about it. Why does it make you retain water? Something to do with muscle building? I read an article on legal steroids for women but they all seem a bit scary to me lol. Protein comes from plants and animals so I’m good with that. Everything else is suspect

Creatine is an animal product👌, very safe and very cheap.

Can’t swallow a pill bigger than a M&M. Do they have gummies? I’ll have to google. Hubby has a bottle but the pills he took the other morning were all big lol. Not sure what all he takes now. He says it’s cheaper and easier than protein shakes but I like my shakes and bars. Who knew that ‘junk food Jenny’ would end up liking protein bars as much as candy bars and protein shakes more than ice cream shakes!

It's a powder generally 👌 unflavoured

Not my experience with any creatine, it is legitimately flavourless here in Aus. Cheap creatine can not dissolve that great and be "gritty" but it's never been bitter or vinegary. but I would listen to him as your more likely to have access to the same creatine as chris over me. It's marginally more expensive like 0.02 a serve lmao but Musashi do a good one(they are pretty much all the same but Musashi have the hook on the inside of the lid for the serving spoon lol)

Chris do you rate creatine as a top tier sup? outside whey and casein I would say it's the next in line

Omega-3 is crazy important but I eat more tuna then a great white at Pt Lincoln hahaha so I have never needed to supplement it.

I’ve been trying to find an omega gummy. I eat tuna some but no other fish of ANY kind. All the supplements confuse me as to why I need them and what they do. Everyone I talk to here just tried to sell me their brand of product without informing me lol. One mom keeps insisting I need all organic, gluten free, preservative free, sugar/corn syrup free all natural products with a Keto diet. (Haven’t noticed any weight loss there) How do you get things like that? With three kids, sports year around and 6 clubs I don’t have time to have a greenhouse and make everything from scratch lol. Eh something will kill me, cancer didn’t but it may as well be my food! Or aliens may abduct me before then 😳

Ok thanks! Let me put it this way on pills. Calcium pills are so large that I cut them in 4 pieces to swallow. Same for antibiotics. Capsules stick in my throat until I’m sick so I break those open on my tongue or in apple sauce. Dr told me to do that one. They said it’s because I’m too dehydrated but it still happens and now I’m drinking like 3-4 bottles of water per day. Plus coffee and sometimes pop or tea on top of that. It sticks in the same place every time so I think I must have a little pocket there. My dr said it’s too expensive and no reason to have a scan to find out since my only issue is swallowing pills. Even have to cut my meat into 1/4” pieces or chew 1/2” pieces really well. I also choke on my own saliva lol.

Ok so I’m horrible about taking my vitamins 😖. As of now I have calcium tabs, d3 gummies, multi gummies and hair skin and nails gummies. My dr told me to take all but again I’m horrible about taking them. Calcium and d3 is supposed to be with a fatty meal but I try not to have a big fatty meal lol. Now I just keep them on the counter hoping to remember them at lunch or dinner. I’ve added cheese and cottage cheese back in hoping I absorb some of that calcium. I sit in the sun when I can for the vitamin d. (Osteopenia and the d3&calcium are supposed to stop it worsening and maybe build some bone back, but I have absorption issues) I’ll check into omega 3. Thanks for explaining the creatine and casein! I won’t waste time on those because I’m not looking to be an athlete or build a ton of muscle right now 😉. My shakes are made from milk concentrate so I’m guessing whey. Powder is whey and so are my protein bars. The rest I get mostly from beef and chicken.
