Texasgranny6's Journal, 27 October 2018

A critical week is coming up. Can you have candy in the house for Halloween and not eat even one tiny piece? Think of each piece as a spoonful of sugar! Doesn't that sound yucky? Every time your hand reaches into the candy bowl, remember this challenge and drop it like a hot coal! Think about the non-food reward you will give yourself after you get past this week! Best wishes!!!

I have junk food all over the place all the time! Hubby isn't into this..... it's not fair to deny him just because I want to lose weight and he doesn't! Anyway I feel if I eat healthy fats it stops the cravings from happening ! Good luck :+)

Fat Bombs help too. We always have a couple different kinds in the freezer.

yes they are, I am not tempted by any of the candy in the house. just not interested. now if it was chocolate fudge brownie ice cream that would tempt me. that is a weak spot

I made a point of buying candy I dislike (gummy pizza, burger and hot dogs along with some sour punch twists) that kids might find special. The bags of chocolate were very tempting but I know me, and they wouldn't have lasted a week around me.

I have been buying treats for the kids and doing just fine not being tempted. I did see a giant bag of candy corn at Sams today. That used to be a big problem for me this time of year. I felt a twinge of sadness that I can’t eat it anymore, but I look at how good I feel eating the way I do now.

Yes, if I have to have candy in the house for holidays that I can easily avoid eating I buy types that I don't like. Or I get my hubby's favorites, problem solved.
