Stuck in the 160/161lbs range don’t know what else i can change. Honest I HATE cardio to the bottom of my soul!! I love doing weights, sit ups and yoga! But something is just not working im at my last 20lbs for god sakes i don’t know what to do anymore! My energy is up i can keep up with kiddos! 7 yr, 1 yr and 17 yr old so thankful I’ve made it this far don’t want to seem ungrateful from 225.0 lbs July 21st 2017! Weigh in right after having Issac! Then after its been such a slow process but i have not gained much just the fluctuations of 1 lbs - maybe 4 lbs. I’ll have to look it up! Avoid Reg pop, love mushrooms, asparagus, cheese, all kinds of meat, yes avoid fruit till i feel comfortable i can maintain ill start adding them again. Just my diabetes played a huge role on my weight issues. My poison of choice is fruit, chocolate and chips go figure! But I’ve stayed away and do add a little 70 % and above dark chocolate at times! Haven’t ate more than 12 chips on my cheat meal of the week just frustrated 🤔
160.4 lb Lost so far: 64.6 lb.    Still to go: 20.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Are you doing Atkins? High protein turns to sugar in the liver. Maybe switch it up for a bit and see if things start going down again.

Not really atkis just avoid sugar, and i keep carbs in between no less than 20 try not to go over 40. Been a diabetic on and off with kiddos for 10+ years! Fear fruit and certain veggies like carrots, peas, onion high in sugar so i avoid or do little of it!

I fast only to control my insulin levels (family is full of T2 diabetes). Your carbs are low, not sure what fasting would do for you. How much weight do you feel you need to lose? Are you sure?

And I dont have a gallbladder or appendix it was taken out back in 2011. I don’t know if it affects how i process food like meat 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would just keep trying different things to discover what works for you. Don't give up. The answers are out there for you :)

I don't know about the appendix, but there are several carnivores without gall bladders and they do just fine with the high fat moderate protein diet. It takes adjustment and most tend to have smaller meals more times a day. but once adjusted they eat more normally. I don't know if other types of food interfers in this process, they are all pretty much zero carb or very low carb. not a huge difference though if you stay under 40. many people find dairy can slow their weight loss, naturally many have issues with gluten. those are two area's that you might investigate. have you updated your RDI since you lost a major amount of weight// sometimes that needs to be adjusted. cardio can be overdone, speed and short duration is helpful. and yes weight/resistance training is definitely a great way to build muscle and while it does not burn a ton of calories in lower level it builds muscles which will benefit in more fat burning overall by having more muscle to burn.

Adefwebserver I’m 5’ 3” curvy built and 140.0 lbs is far from my weight after my first born which was 124lbs. I accepted that my body after 3 kiddos was going to change! I weighed between 105 to 118lbs thru high school. My pregnancy weigh from my first born was to 135lbs. I decided then even at 118.0lbs would be impossible after i gained lady bumps...lol with my first. Was very active in Gymnastics and Cheerleading so thats why i was tiny ! Hell back then i could eat a thin crust medium pepperoni pizza by myself...lol those were the days 😝🤣 but now close to my 40s i think 140.0. Lbs is reasonable. I go in for A1C every 30 days because im scaring the hell out of my primary Doc but every thing has been good 👍🏼 Blood work wise 😊

Baskington yes i have noticed not when i do have a little bread or chips i get bloated rather quickly! That is what i noticed first ! when i left most crappy carbs like sugar and white bread, pasta i had wayyyyy less gas problems! I just always though it was normal to be farty!! Lol sorry TMI 😝

The more you lose the harder it gets but you can get there - just keep up the good work!

Stalls and plateaus are normal. Check your measurements or the fit of your clothes - often the inches keep coming off even when the pounds don't.

Also, maybe find something else to "cheat" with, something lower carb than chips?

@Mabels Progress - Yes your goal seems logical.

Love chips but I've been satisfied with pork rinds; crunchy, salty, can't eat as much of them, and no carbs.
