Day 6 of a planned 11 day 'no solid food fast'

Blood sugar 81 mg/dL

😎 I am happy with this one pound gain of water weight today. After a 4 pound loss yesterday, 🌊 I allowed myself to drink as much water as I could, and to consume as much Protein Powder as I wanted to until I was stuffed.

🧘🏾‍♂️ Had I not been fasting, it is a day where I would have consumed 3,000+ calories and 200+ carbs. My mind was 'on one' and 'mentally' I was in a 'consume consume consume' mode. Last week I gained 5 pounds. Yesterday I only gained one.

📸 Tried to take some pictures to show progress but honestly my body looks the same as it did a month ago. So, I am reaching back 4 months ago, when I had been fasting for about two months (and lost about 20lbs at the time), to show that I have been able to continue to do 'extended fasting' since then.

'Fasting' (not eating continuously) is a way of life, not a 'quick fad diet' for me.

🏋🏾 The plan today is to hit the gym. My hope is to complete the same lifts as I did on Friday even though at this point I am FULLY fasted for 7 days.

Have a great day everyone!

@Chris77 - I noticed that like in your pictures yesterday, my 'nipples' move 'outward' as I 'lean out'. Perhaps a better way to 'measure' progress than BMI? Haha

Great new pic - what a change - keep on going! Love the way you journal every day and keep such great track of exactly what you are doing

@nikeit - Thanks for the continued support! My motivation for all this posting and logging is to have data to decide what to do when I get 'stuck'. It really helped so far along the way. The support from others is an added benefit.
