SoCalPam's Journal, 21 August 2018

I spent yesterday having an involuntary wheat cleanse. My body was busy getting rid of the wheat I ate over the weekend and gave me further proof that wheat is not my friend. A little is okay. I didn't perceive that I ate that much, but eating some 3 days in a row resulted in a very uncomfortable day yesterday. I used to think I had IBS but the more I listen to my body and track my food, the more I've come to realize that it's wheat that's the culprit.

I can't mourn the years I've lost to increased weight and discomfort, I can only move forward. I like this site, as I can see straight out my graphs and behavior. Any spikes up in weight are related to wheat consumption. I'm now avoiding alcohol too, both due to the inflammatory aspect of the sugars and to the way it relaxes me and sends me on a carb crave.
