So I gained a pound, two pounds in one week is still a lot! A good part of that has to be water weight. I was trying to avoid logging in that new pound but its still there so... :) I missed the beginning of my challenge, Every day is a new start. So below is my first gratitude journal for said challenge. this is a time when I could use some focus on gratitude more than usual anyway.

my beautiful, wonderful, fuzzy cat Sara
my wonderful husband and the positive changes he's made in his life
my ability to assert myself
the fact that I don't live with drug dealers and did not have a murder attempt (success?) against me last night like the woman in apartment one
My landlady is super nice
I miss my sister but she is going off to exciting new horizons she can share with me via skype
I have used my experiences to help others and to advance research that is helping others
I finally got a certain client into treatment after more than a year of obstacle after exhausting obstacle
her gratitude
my brother, even though I miss him, maybe I can get him to facetime with me
a great relationship with my parents
my dad finally quitting smoking and getting dentures and letting go of grandma's house all at once!
the opportunity to help others and get paid
learning and my wonderful graduate school and friends there
I got a raise!

writing
food, food, and more food (the healthy kind- not too much of it ;)
exercise: right now walks, couch to 5k and 8 minutes in the morning
my spirituality
funny tv shows and other funny things
friends

School is starting next week and I need to get my textbooks. At some point I am thinking about starting an 8 minutes in the morning challenge... if I do would anyone be interested? It would be just the exercise portion and participants could choose whether to follow Jorge Cruise's diet or not, since I don't.
133.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

wow, this is a great gratitude list....that shows me that we all can be grateful for a LOT OF things and not just the obvious!
