42.3% :) A (slight) new low on the weight. I am sore this morning from the extra strength training I've been doing. I am doing twice what I was doing daily (which was not much) plus some kind of ab work. In an effort to try to do something I can keep up with, and also to let my various muscle groups rest in between, I am thinking maybe I'll do the abs on one day and alternate with the other body parts.
189.4 lb Lost so far: 17.6 lb.    Still to go: 59.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Go you! I alternate too -upper body one day, lower the next- and I'm finding it easier to keep with too. Great job on the extra strength workouts. You're almost to your mini goal!

Alternating is a great idea, especially with leg and arm muscle groups. All the trainers I ever talked to said you can do abs every day, though. Good job!

thanks, Sara! yes, I have often heard that abs can be done every day, but I do hear a few every once in a while saying that they cannot. so I'm not sure which is true...do you know of any research behind the idea that you can do them everyday?

You are really falling on the scale, wow! I love you bio.... that's what I'm doing too. Just thinking about what I'm eating more and, we all know what we should and shouldn't put into our bodies:-) I am thrilled for you that it's working so well! GREAT JOB!

thanks, Millalite, I have heard too that chocolate causing acne is a myth, but what about sugar? is that one a myth too? I also ate dairy recently, read on dr. weils site that that can lead to acne. who knows? yeah, I am about to be 31, but with this breakout I went somewhere the other day and a lady told me I look young enough to card. I do drink a lot of water already... let me know if you find anything else that works for you!

hehe. :) oh yeah, I don't use those astringents either, ML. I do use tea tree oil sometimes, which some people say is too strong for their skin in a similar way, but which I find results in an overall improvement.

Oh, yea, it's the sugar in the chocolate that can cause acne. Cutting sugar definitely helps in that department, I've seen it time and time again. Even fruit sugar can make acne worse, just be aware to limit it or eat fruit with something else.

thanks, sara! It seems like I'm okay with small amounts of sugar re: weight loss, but apparently my skin isn't appreciating it! thanks for the tip re: fruits, too.
