Forgot to log my weight earlier. No change again. Feeling horrible. Physically and mentally sluggish. My digestion is still at a stand still after 6 days. I don’t want to quit this diet. But I can’t keep going on like this. I drank milk of magnesia last night and a laxative tea a couple of hours ago and STill Nothing!! I know eventually I’ll go but I don’t want to go through another cycle of feeling fantastic for 3 days and then slowly work my way into feeling horrible.

I don't know what diet you're on, but for me eating 5-6 dried apricots works wonders. If those fit your calorie intake, eat them! They make things move, LOL!

I’m on Keto. On my regular low carb diet I don’t usually have too much of an issue. Might be a lill sluggish but still go 3 or 4 times a week. Not zero :(

chia seeds work for me, as does coffee.

I use to be a big coffee drinker both American and espresso... my guts have been desensitized lolol I’m going to try chia and flax and cut all dairy ( I don’t even consume much), and buy some pysllium powder. Those are some of the things I’ve heard that will keep me regular.

You may consume foods that absorb near 100% into the body, and leave very little waste. This way of eating compare poorly to a large amounts of waste kind of diets. Magnesium Citrate is something to consider, as it helps the pump action of our intestines.

you may not be getting enough fiber, maybe need more leafy vegtables. I use a dieters tea, it is senna as the ingredient. works well to get things going. another thing is vitamin c powdered, 5000mg mixed in water. if it does not work the first dose then take up another 5000 mg definitely gets things going.

Maybe you should fast for a day. I know it has to be very uncomfortable to continue consuming food and not expelling it.

You can also try a product called cal-mag. It’s calcium and magnesium together and it works wonders. The plain tastes bad so try the lemon flavored.

Hey there dear, I understand I went through this very thing almost 2 weeks of not going, I did get a prescription of miralax however can buy over the counter as well. It worked within 4 days and I upped my fiber intake and fat intake still waiting to see if that made a difference, I had a ct scan and even though they said I wasn't constipated much at all yet I felt I was, and having difficulty so they explained it was my diet and gave me miralax. I ate 1lb prunes in one setting that was 1800 calories and it didn't help nothing!! so that is when I went to Dr also. Hope you get better soon

Thank you all for your advice and support. I really do appreciate it! I really hope that it will work. Even with this problem, I’ve benifited so much from Keto and want to continue.

Don’t forget water! Your body needs that to go. 👍

Definitely use magnesium! In the evening. It helps you relax and sleep and also it will help with the not going issue. I usually take one 250mg tablet but once in a while I need 500mg (2 tabs) to get things right. This will help on Keto!
