Going cold turkey..gooooood ymornin everyone..yesterday on my journal I had an article from a buddy..it reads..

The worst thing you can do when trying to lose weight is to eat small amounts of sugar throughout the day. This is why...in order to burn fat your body has to need more sugar in the blood to keep the level right. When your blood sugar goes down the body begins to turn fat into sugar to correct for the low blood sugar. If you continually add sugar to the blood with small doses you will never burn any fat. Even if you do not consume that many calories. Also when the body burns the sugar you eat you will immediately crave more before the body starts to convert fat to sugar. However, when your body starts to convert fat to sugar it is better at keeping the sugar in your blood at an even state. After a few days your cravings will diminish significantly due to your bodies natural ability to convert fat to sugar at a steady pace. Once you get your body into that state you will burn fat around the clock even without a lot of exercise. You just have to eliminate the outside source of sugar and carbohydrates completely!! I also would not recommend a fast of just water it is not a long term solution. It will be much easier to stay off the sugar with a healthy high fiber, moderate protein, low to no carb diet. Trying to jump start a diet by completely starving yourself for a day is only going to make you think you deserve a reward of M&M's when you start eating again!!

The post wasn’t anything I didn’t already know..but it was something I needed to see in black an white to make me realize why I needed to get the m & m candy outta sight and outta mind..i did a 24 hour fast that ended yesterday at 12 and yes I have to admit that every time I went to the kitchen to get water the habit of not wanting to put some sugar in my mouth was there..but I stuck to my changing old habits into new habits..its 4am now..an my 16:8 fast is over an im back in keto once again..no sugar from candy is in my system anymore..im ready to once again get back on track..my scales is dancing cause it knows good things are comin its way…im dancing cause I changed an old habit into a positive one..guess its time once again to start a new day with more things to learn to keep me on track of what I want to accomplish..have a great day everyone…and thank you…
