In spite of being one of the most careful people on this planet, I have contracted Covid. I am vaccinated and have had the booster, my symptoms are very similar to having a head-cold plus I have a slight sore throat & a cough. The only time I was out was to the Tax Assessor's office to check on my MIA license plates. I stood in line in a crowded hallway (everyone was masked, but the person in back of me was not social distancing) for about 10 minutes. I'm just so thankful I didn't go to Louisiana for Christmas, as I didn't develop any symptoms until last night and I have had no fever. I would have infected them all. Be careful out there my friends.

It is time to consider a switch out of masks to a kn95. You can purchase from Amazon. Not sold in stores. Comfortable, easy to breath through, 5 layer, disposable, but cost about $1.50 apiece. Price changes by demand. I knew at the beginning that this would be a multi year event and stocked up each time the price dropped— I’m set for at least another year.

I normally wear a mask I make which has two layers of fabric and a non-woven filter. These have served me well. That day I had forgotten a mask and so used a disposable surgical mask, which utterly failed.

So glad to hear that! I just cancelled a hair appointment because I am too worried about the new variant of Covid, supposed to be so easy to get.
