Happy New Week, my Fearless FatSecret Friends!

I just came from Orange Theory Fitness - my best workout so far during my hip rehab stint!

The classes at my OTF location are shortened to 45 minutes due to Covid because they need extra time to disinfect between classes. I burned 420 calories in about 40 minutes on the rowing machine, elliptical and some medicine ball work.

And, I am getting back to more water and enjoying my Seattle Sutton meals. They are balanced and full of fresh fruits, vegetables and decent fiber. I likely could use more protein overall but will see how I do within this calorie range before adding a protein shake.

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto

Shorter Range Goals:
* Down on the Idiot Box while rebuilding muscle
* Bodyfat% reading with trainer once weight is down
* Drink at least 10 cups of fresh water/fluids daily
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting three to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Longer Range Goals:
*Bodyfat at 27% or less
*Longer range body fat goal is 25% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain 160lbs or less staying under goal weight in 2021
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workout

@jimmiepop: Yup, I have done IF and OMAD, too. All good options. I am just trying to get my butt back in gear after my second full hip replacement surgery - and get off eating too much for now.

@HCB All good. I know you're going to kill it and I'm right there with you in terms of falling off the wagon. I was just struck by the fact that the single most effective way to lose fat didn't even make their top 10...

I like the MSBT post. Every point is an awesome goal starting with reducing sugar. I would add "no added sugar"

YOu're doing fine, so far. I just hope you don't get bored, tired of it, or just plain stop. Keep it goin' for life. Literally.
