Have been reading with great interest all the experiments you are doing (fasting, indulgence, etc.). Since my scale has not moved in 5 days I am wondering if I should be joining you.

One (unintentional) experiment I have done is to allow my calories to go over 1250. Apparently NOT working. Starting tonight my eating will stop at 1250 calories or 5:45 pm, whichever comes first.

This in addition to 16:8, low glycemic, semi paleo and reduced dairy and carbs. How many other WOE's could I possibly string together?


Diet Calendar Entry for 20 January 2014:
1139 kcal Fat: 71.68g | Prot: 58.46g | Carb: 74.22g.   Breakfast: Coffee. Lunch: Boiled Egg, Grapefruit (Pink and Red), Pistachio Nuts, Dole Asian Blend Chopped Salad, Bolthouse Farms Chunky Blue Cheese Yogurt Dressing. Dinner: Coconut Oil, Cooked Broccoli (Fat Not Added in Cooking), Frieda's Buttercup Squash, Butter, Chicken Thigh (Skin Not Eaten). Snacks/Other: Vegetable Oil, Coffee, Dole Asian Blend Chopped Salad, Marie's Yogurt Dressing - Ranch, Trader Joe's Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry. more...

Ummmmmm 5:2 fast, IIFYM (macro-managing your food), etc. LMAO!!!! Just do whatever you need to do to stay fit and healthy. Remember there are changes going on inside that don't show up on the scale. It's only been 5 days. I think you and I both get caught up in the people that eat 350 calories a day and are dropping a pound a day. LOL! I have to eat. Look at your weight history graph. It is working for you!

Mom - As always, you are right. I am continually telling others not to panic when there is no weight loss, but cannot take my own advice.

Got a miserable cold, can't do any exercise. Just wish the appetite went along too.

I'd stick with your plan that has been working. Maybe change your activity some.

Wholefoodnut - that is pretty much what I've decided, with the addition of the 16:8. Managed to stay under my RDI today as well - pat, pat, pat myself on the back!

I have to agree... 5 days is not panic worthy. Type been doing great, so hang I'm there & I'm sure the scale with follow! Xoxox

I think your body does a pause to catch up the loss and I found almost adjusts and this was when I lost inches in the past - give it time :)
