On Monday 06/15/2020 I completed 30 laps in the pool for 45 minutes starting at 8 am and 15 laps at 5pm for a total of 45 laps in one day. This equated to 1 mile of swimming in one day at 81 years of age. Pool length is 60 feet thus a lap is 120 feet of swimming (120 feet times 45 laps = 5,400 feet. A statute mile is 5,280 feet.
This is the first time I swam for a mile in one day.
