You did a lot of fiber maybe you are retaining some water? Yeah it is all good and will flush out again!!!!!

Just part of the process. When I eat later or lift weights, I notice a slight increase the following morning. Lack of sleep can also show a gain. No worries, you will be fine.

If you are weighing daily you will see more gains and losses. I weigh daily. It’s always a water weight gain for me. It can be from lack of sleep, working out, dehydration (our bodies hold onto water thinking we won’t get enough) and different foods (for me it’s junk food at night or things like bread and pizza that day). Don’t stress over it unless you’ve noticed a big jump from one week to the next. I take Monday mornings as the day I check back each week. Then I check on the monthly too and now yearly.

I thought fiber was a GOOD thing. According to my food journal I am not getting nearly enough. I did some Googling and decided to incorporate chia seeds into my diet. There are a lot of recipes for chia water, chia pudding, etc.

It is a good thing... It is just that once you introduce something new your body will deal with it and increased fiber may mean increased water uptake. But it is just water and means nothing for your greater goal.

I use ground flax seed. It is filling and has a lot of Omega 3 and it is almost all fiber.

I’m incorporating more turmeric into my diet and my dogs diet too. Anti inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. I make a hot Golden milk beverage with almond/cashew milk, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, coconut oil, honey, which is delicious and filling. My little dog developed some nasal congestion after visiting the vet last week so I started adding 1/4 tsp turmeric to her two daily meals. She’s all clear up in just a few days and acting like her 13 yo puppy self again! Was it the turmeric or just recovered on her on? I’ll never know but rather than suppress her system with pharmaceuticals, I like to think that I help boost her aging immune system naturally. Of course, I would have taken her back if she hadn’t improved but since she had full blood work done last week, I knew her lab results were good.
