Yesterday was a great workout, tied a personal best and made an annual goal. Each year (over the past six) I've been able to perform the number of pushups to match my age, yesterday was 58. My personal best was about 4 years ago of 87, but subsequent to that my supraspinatus delaminated to the point of failure, and I've never regained my former ability, so for protection I've adjusted sails and now do close arm pushups using more of my triceps than shoulders. Due to the level of difficulty that I'm experiencing I doubt that I'll make 60 at 60. I shall never forget the pain and recovery of that surgery, nor do I think I would ever go through it again. I can still feel pain in the location of one of two anchor pins they used in reattaching it. "I'd rather burn out than fade away..."

That’s amazing that you can do that many push-ups. And you’re right about surgery being so awful, too...

No Scalewtcher, just shoot for it anytime during each year.

Well, 58 pushups is impressive, especially since you have two anchor pins!
