So I am out of my normal protein shake powder and in a rush this morning I grabbed a 14 ounce container of vanilla muscle milk. Feel like I’m wound up like a three day clock! This vanilla cream stuff as an ingredient in it called maltodextrin and sucralose. Don’t like the way I feel right now! Like nervous and Jittery! Won’t be doing that again!

How many more carbohydrates than your usual protein shake?

@Tom I don’t know but was making the point about those sweeteners. In any case most all protein powders I’ve found have too many carbs too. Does anyone use an economical powder that really fits into the KETO diet?

MRM egg white uses stevia and monk fruit for sweetness. $1.50 serving I think. Paleo Thin is another brand, similar price and sweetener I think. To get something without carbs or artificial sweeteners you probably have to buy an unflavored variety. Plain powdered milk is close, but I would rather eat water packed tuna; I have issues with casein protein. There are 100s of whey proteins out there. The one I use is cheap but not Keto.
