Review Time
I STARTED OVER ON 7/20/18

Weekly Review 7/20 to 7/26

Start weight 195
End weight 192.4
Difference 2.6#
Week TTL
Fat 427.38
Protein 305.19
Carbs 79.44

So I am doing good on low carbs avg 7.9 a day. Great for Atkins,
not so much for the ratio of fat to protein/carb for a ketogenic diet.

So how do I add more good fat into my diet or reduce protein without adding carbs?

I have ordered some MCT oil to try and that should help some. Still need to reduce protein without increasing carbs. If I average 430g fat then my protein and carbs should be at 107 (97 protein/10carbs).

Or am I calculating this wrong??
Every day I watch and my fats are usually in the 70's%, protein in 20's% and carbs remainder of the % . So with that logic if I got my protein to the 80's % it would be a 4:1 or pretty dang close.

Any suggestions?

It REALLY helped me to look at my numbers as you are doing. I started only making 'changes' and 'adjustments' after MY numbers indicated these changes and adjustments were needed. For me, I must always line all my daily numbers against the weight loss the next day (if weight loss is my 'goal'). For example (and this is just in my case), the calorie deficit had no relation to my weight loss (in my case only carbs did). This is why I will now pour 100 calories of heavy cream into my morning coffee and not think about it. If I listened to all the 'advice' out there people would tell me that I am not 'fasting correctly'. But MY numbers, MY facts are the only thing that matters. So... what do you numbers tell you? You also have your 2014 data to also pull from (yay!).

Thx @adefwebserver Yeah I only worry about my numbers because mine are what shows what does and does not work for me. I forgot about going back to the old records. Thx again. I also got my paperwork out from my doctor on the keto and it is the % so I am not to far off from the fat 4:1 ratio for the ketogenic diet.
