A good week food-wise. No meals out and managed to do two reduced-calorie days at last, and pleased with the almost 2-pound drop, which is double my average 😀
Also made good progress on exercising: some 3-mile walks, got the bike out once, and went to line-dancing for the first time. Feel as though I've settled properly into life in Spain at last, too, so am fairly happy all round 😀😀😀

That's great Heidi. The walks and dancing will have helped with the weight drop too. Keep it up and enjoy your sojourn.

Heidi, I'm so happy for you. Your exercise is fun and fits into your life style and dropping about 2 lbs. is awesome. How did you feel about the line dancing? That is something I haven't tried, and get off the dance floor to watch.

Thanks, peeps! @Scalewatcher, I found the line-dancing surprisingly hard. I used to do ballroom, Latin and modern jive, and used to regard line-dancing as an easy option for older people! And I really thought I would have no problem with it after losing weight and all the walking, but it was tough on the legs - so I obviously need to do more of it! Lol. Fact is I haven't done any dancing the last couple of years, so I guess my 'dancing muscles' have wasted away! Apart from that, it's a mental challenge in trying to learn the dances... So I really do need to keep at it! Can't go every week, but once a fortnight will be enough for me anyway.

That's interesting. I love to watch the people who know what they're doin', but I've never tried line-dancing, because I have always managed to slip away from my more gong-ho friends.:) Have a super day!

Wow--what a great and positive update and impressive 'performance' in all areas: eating, activity, etc. that it's no surprise to me the scale responded as it did! Well done!! Don't let the recent 'complications/frustrations' with your cinema club impede or dampen your spirit and commitment!
