I ended up eating fewer calories yesterday...not by plan, just happened....and it showed up on the scale. First, I never got around to deciding what dinner should be so when it was time to eat I went with a salad topped with tuna salad & deviled eggs. That sounded good at the time & I actually really enjoyed it. I had a small slice of tiramisu for dessert & a small Outshine frozen pop when we sat down to watch TV. Later, Hubby got some chips and I sat there thinking they sounded really good....right up until bed time. 🙄 I never got up enough motivation to actually get some for myself.
It was cool and cloudy all day yesterday. I was planning to go out and do some work in the yard, but never did. Instead I got into the cedar chest & pulled out some Summer clothes. Only problem is most of them are now too big. The waist is huge on the shorts & capris. I think if I don't mind a relaxed look I might be able to move the button over & wear a belt to hold some of them up til I find replacements. My waist was already proportionately larger than my hips...kinda straight up & down....so it's difficult to get pants that fit comfortably in the waist & fit thru the hips. Now, I can pull them off without even unzipping them.
We did go for our walk yesterday. Today it finally warmed up so I did some outside work. I pulled more weeds....there are always weeds! And I planted a couple of herbs I got a few days ago. I'm waiting for Hubby to get back from Home Depot with some more mulch. I think this will be the last of the mulch for this Summer.
My daughter called last night on her way to Kroger asking what special items I may need while I'm visiting. She sounded so excited ☺ It's pretty much a given I'm going now, but after talking with her I think I better make it happen.
