Watched a video by Dr Eric Berg, and one by Dr. Jason Fung last night on fasting instead of watching TV while I hand sewed in a hem on a difficult top. There is so much to learn, but it feels wonderful. Watching them really jazzed me, feeling optimistic for the possibilities of more health, not eating so often and triggering insulin. My husband wants that so much but still isn't willing to give up sugar and high carbs. He's hoping he can cut down a little, and be fat based for his brain, and big gut. Also because he is glucose based he gets hungry more often so eats more often. He also drinks coffee with milk all day long. You can't be glucose based or fat based at the same time. Never going to happen that way. He gets so mad. He wants his bourbon with 7-up at night after pasta, toast in the morning with jam, and be fat based. He may go 8 hours without eating. I guess that's called wanting your cake and eating it too, literally. He buys himself ice cream, white french bread, and pastries. He's right, he doesn't have as much as a lot of other people, but too much. He is mad at me, that I don't agree with him. I hope he doesn't have a stroke from it. I can't control him, but I also am not sure I could take care of him. The burden would fall on me.
