This is the third day that my weight has stayed the same. That can mean only one thing: I'm getting ready for another breathrough! Eeehah! Didn't get my butt out of bed as early as I needed to in order to exercise this morning, so I am going to go straight from work over to the trail, before I head home this evening. Patience is not my strongest virtue; wish I could just go to bed and wake up slim, looking like Brad Pitt, but alas, the slim part will just have to wait.
Went and walked along the riverfront after work. Harder for me to walk fast enough to tax my breathing, than it was for me to alternate moderate speed walking with jogging. Still kept the combination of the two, under 15 minutes. Not too much jogging, but just practicing that foot patting technique talked about in the book. Hard to jog and just pat your feet on the ground when you are 236 pounds. But, the author is right-on when he says that slamming your heel down on the pavement is like putting the brakes on, with every stride. Taking my time and going thrugh the stretching techniques, before and after, is really making a difference.
