Sorry you and your family have had so much illness.
Recovery from gallbladder removal surgery is so much easier now than it was when I did it 48 years ago. I was 3 months post c-section and it was an open incision from the naval up. Thankfully my daughters, DIL and SIL have been able to do it Laproscopicly. The relief from pain and digestive issues is worth it! I know some people who still have dietary restrictions after. None of us in my family have any trigger foods.
You have made great progress on your weight loss journey. Please don't be negative about your health issues. Use them as motivation to make permanent lifestyle changes. Just don't see the need for medication as a failure. It may be temporary while your body adjusts to a new healthy lifestyle.
You have done amazing things! Keep your focus on your Success!

Tr3, Glad you are feeling better. Are you having gallbladder attacks? They are awful!!! If you keep your fat intake under 14g per meal you should be able to keep them from happening (if that's an issue). Sounds like you have something other than typical stones. Praying for you!

sending prayers. I had my gallbladder taken out laprascopically a few years ago and it was bad. I was sore for a week or two, but I haven't had issues with that since

Your having health issues because of the way you ate. No you don’t need those medications non of them you need to have a hard lifestyle change. Have you ever thought about a tool? Like the sleeve or anything like that? I got mine over a year ago and I was 283 I’m now 173 and my thyroid is back in check. I eat great. I don’t need any of those medications, and im no longer a borderline diabetic I have a lot of subcutaneous fat left to lose but I wish I would’ve done it years ago. Remember weight loss surgery is a tool to help you learn how to have a better relationship for food for the right reasons

My doctor pretty much told me the same thing and my follow up appointment is also in June. I'm also anti medicine so I'm going to do everything I can to prevent me from being put on meds. I have accepted this lifestyle change of mine and have completely changed my diet along with being more active. I hope you have a positive outcome during your next appointment. Just stay focused on your fitness/health goals and you will crush it! You got this!
