Captain's Log - Day 1
This morning seemed like a good day to start a journey to Onederland. I hear its an amazing place filled with smaller sizes and cute clothes, less huffing and puffing when putting shoes on, the ability to fit a bath towel around your entire body so it covers all those vital bits, being able to see my feet when I look down, disappearing front butts, jumping without feeling like I'm trying to crush something, looking into a mirror and feeling successful and all sorts of other wonderful things! I was there once but it was so long ago I'm afraid I have forgotten most of those things. I'm hoping to rediscover most of them in the next year or two or however long it takes to reach 150 lbs.
I'm beginning my day on an impulse. I stepped on the scale this morning and the only thought that popped in my head was "Nope!" Not where I want that number to be. Not where I want to be. Not the size I want my butt to be. Just plain Nope! This isn't going to do at all. There was no planning involved, no strategy, no preparation, no vision board, no nothing. The plan is coming along as I go. For instance I'm thinking some Low Carb/Keto/Atkins/High Protein/Carbage reduction of some sort. I'm also assuming I should workout more than I presently do since I haven't worked out in months. As long as I'm eating better, eating less, and moving more I believe something positive will happen. What's the worse that could happen?
Today I'm doing low carb dirty style. These are the items I had readily available when I left the house with no planning what so ever. Imagine what I can do with planning! This journal is for me to document what I've done, see what works, what doesn't work, whine and complain to complete strangers so I don't drive my loved ones insane (I will probably still drive my loved ones insane), and document the progress I make along the way. Even if its only tying my shoes without holding my breath.
