Today was pretty uneventful. I followed my eating plan pretty well. DW prepared a sirloin steak and a really nice salad for supper. Had a little time to spend in the garage, and then managed to squeeze in my workout on the treadmill. This is going to be a really hot and humid week, but to be quite honest, the heat feels good compared to the igloo I worked in all day. The plant is shut down for the week, so I guess there is more energy available to run the air conditioner. You could hang meat in my office. I sat at my desk with a sweater on all day, and it was 95 degrees outside. We only air condition the bedroom in the schoolhouse, so I'm pretty used to the heat. Anyway, back on topic. I tallied up my performance with regard to my eating plan for the last 12 days, and I'm averaging about 88% in meeting my RDI. Since I have had an 8 pound drop over that time period, I am a little skeptical about this trend continuing. It is possible my RDI is very low, and this trend will continue, or I will reach a lull, and it will average out to 1.5 lbs. per week over time. My goal is 10 lbs. per month, but I have my good days and bad. I work my butt off when I'm on, but I easily fall into a rutt, and lose focus some days. I'm trying to break that cycle.
