The power of gratitude & journaling!... It certainly turned my day around yesterday! I had woken up feeling overwhelmed & frazzled by all I had to do before I leave again on Sunday, but after journaling about it & reminding myself of all that I have to be grateful for, my entire day changed. And, I got much more done than I'd ever thought I would. (I'm realizing that I tend to think chores will take longer than they usually do!)
So, today I can start to plan & pack for my trip to move out my younger son & then go with him to see my Mom where DH & my older son will meet us. I'm getting so excited to see my boys;)! The younger will then be home for the summer (he has an internship in NYC) & the older will go back to school after a week home for a 6-week intensive summer course & then be home for 2-4 weeks depending on how much time he can get off from his job down there.
So, as my excitement grows, I'll start my day in prayer & remember all the blessings in my life --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
And, I'll continue to pray, breathe, log, post & express again throughout this one day, meal, moment, bite and emotion at a time. TGIF! xoxox
