2 weeks ago, I went to bed 2 non consecutive days without dinner because I had a large lunch and woke up the next day without eating my pillow case because I starved to death the night before. That's just nonsense [[Starving is when you don't have access to food. I simply chose not to eat. PERIOD]] That week by Friday, I was 211.8 LBS. 1.8 lbs from the green line.
Last week, my food intake was up and for a few days I thought I have everything under control and then "BAM", yesterday's scale number was up QUITE A BIT!
This week starting today, I will go to bed with out dinner and want to do this 2 more times (I'm thinking Thursday and Saturday) to see if I get this train fully back on the tracks.
This doesn't give me and excuse to go crazy earlier in the day as I didn't go crazy for my only meal 3.5 hours back and it was only 817 calories after finishing the last bite.
Let's see what I am capable of doing.

Ches, we have a neighbor who lost 100 lbs by, "Going to bed hungry." He didn't count calories or macros, but I am thinkng he probably ate clean food, but nothing special.
I am sharing this to encourage you, not to tell what or how to do this.
I hope you are successful. 😊👍

Trying to predict weight loss is like buying a lottery ticket...

I strongly believe that the most effective weight loss 'strategy' (for me at least) is Intermediate Fasting. I feel this is going to work :)

So FS family, I'm thinking with my limited awake hours 7pm - 9 pm when I come home from work, I may pass on dinner more often. Just a thought for now. The more I do it, the easier it becomes. Onward.

I don't skip dinner but I have gotten in the habit that if I am not hungry I scale back the portions and greatly reduce the number of carbs at dinner. I wish you all the best on your journey and look forward to the progress notes.

wannabhealthier - Can I quote you on that weight loss and lottery ticket comment? I loved it.

Thanks @Keilin_4 - I'm retaining something wicked in my lower intestines and I will expel it tonight. ewwww! Thanks @Becc@ - I failed at that attempt last night and my stomach is still upset from it. I think the roast beef was the culprit. I still will retry this Wed, Thur and Sat. Thanks @wannabhealthier - You're right. We still control every bite we eat or don't eat. Thanks @adefwebserver - IF is very effective. Thanks @tahoebrun - I've have many battles in my head about this and I think due to my control issues or lack there of that it is easier to not eat if I don't have things prepared before because once I start eating, it's been hard to stay in control by only eating low carb. When my appetite is activated. ITS ACTIVATED! I'll keep you posted for sure. Thanks @BlueFront - Yeah, I will quote that in the future too.
