Fasting a.m. BS = 179; Weight 173.6 Disappointed in BS since it was 129 last night. Was another restless night! This morning I added turmeric and pepper to my Keto coffee. I don't know if that helped or not, but I feel much better this evening. That also may be from helping kids with their STEM projects at the library this afternoon. This group is younger than ones I've had before, so I'm having to tailor my activities to their age. And be more active in helping them! I gave my one 6th grader a choice, do today's project or a project of her own:learning to use a BBC Microbot and teaching me how to do it next week. She lit up with a smile, and did both -- except the teaching me part. I let her take the project home with her. I didn't much care for science when I was in school, but introducing kids to hands-on-learning is fun. Why was chemistry the only hands-on science I ever had in high school?

Here's my experience with learning as a kid, the teacher could talk, talk, talk and I'd space out. But give me a project that made me research, explore, look for the how, what, and why and it was instant learning success. I tutor at our library and find if you give kids or adults a little information and turn them loose on a project, miracles can happen. Excellent job!

Still planning to try that tumeric tea. I sprinkle it on my eggs but haven't tried it in hot drinks yet.
