I've not been to the gym in two days. :(... I'm having a flare-up in my joints, they are swollen and hurting something awful, and it's all I can do to get in to work. I feel like I'm letting my team down, but I've been extra careful with my eating, since it's all I can do...

Don't worry about the team! Your health is what is important and working out is just not an option for you right now. Good for you for keeping extra vigilence on your eating. That alone can be enough to still make progress. You will get back into the exercise when you can. All that beautiful muscle you've gained won't disappear overnight. Don't fret. GO RED GO!

sorry to hear your hurting! Don't feel bad though, it's better to get healthy so you can return to full speed, than to keep injuring something and be out for good! I haven't even started my exercise yet and i've already lost a pound, so I think you'll be just fine in the meantime.

Aw, I hope that you will be feeling better soon. I agree with Evelyn though... don't worry about our team challenge! I've lost most of my weight WITHOUT exercising.... so healthy eating on it's own can be enough... although obviously exercise does help... hence why I'm now trying to get my act in gear and do some more! You just concentrate on getting back to 100% again and hope that will be soon for you. :o)
