Just got back from the first of two pretty much back-to-back writing conventions. Traditionally, I eat too much and drink too much during these cons and end up gaining weight, but the first one went really well, and I actually lost weight, dropping into the 180's for the first time in many years. Also, I was on a panel with GOOSEBUMPS author RL Stine, which was really, really cool. He's hilarious.

Great Job! Not overeating at writing conventions is a real challenge because writers/editors/agents seem to have two very common weaknesses: overeating and overdrinking. Both are diet crashers. Good for you that despite being surrounded by others indulging, you were able to stay on your own course. :)
