I'm perfectly OK until I eat something. Then I feel like I'm starving! :-(

Cutting back on carbs helps. Carbs tend to cause more food cravings. I am eating less now. (Carbs too) - but when I did low carb I had no food cravings.

I normally eat high, complex carb because I have to limit my protein, due to borderline kidney failure. You have to eat something. :-)

Very difficult situation...life is not fair sometimes. The only way I stop cravings is low carb, can't your Dr give you some good advise that works?

Too much protein effects me the same way as carbs (weight gain & cravings), so I have to limit it too. I fill in with fat. Fat is the only macro that doesn't cause sugar spikes or dips at all. Good luck in finding what works for you!

16:8 fast also works great for methat also. It really isn't thatalso hard being that you count your sleep hours as fasting.

I am just glad you are back posting and trying to work on the weight again ... with all us. I do better when I am here with our group of friends. I miss Bren and Stef, too. Stef is fighting a battle with cancer in case no one knew that. She needs all of our prayers.

Sandy, I pray for her every day. She's only 3 hours away. Sometimes I just want to jump in my car and go give her real hugs! You're right. That 3 weeks off FS was disastrous! Addie, it's just a matter of living with boring food. It tastes great but after several years of eating the same thing, it gets boring. That's why I've been childishly rebelling this past year. I'm trying really hard to get back on track. Angel, my Dr told me to eat low carb for the diabetes, then told me to restrict protein for the kidneys. No help there! Jenny, I'm doing a form of fasting from the largest university studies, but it's more for mental acuity than weight loss. Thanks everyone! Off to watch the Chiefs. I'm not a sports fan but said I'd buy a shirt if they win the Super Bowl. I did the same thing with the Royals and they won the Pennant! LOL!

My problem lately has been feeling fine until I eat then I feel bloated. I've tried cutting back on what I'm eating and even just a few ounces of whatever it is makes me feel like I ate a couple of pounds. I'm not sure where my weight is right now and I won't weigh in until Thursday but I do know that my pants are looser.

That's how I felt about being forced to eat breakfast. Once eaten I was raring to go food wise. Now LC and IF which helps immensely. I still hear from some about breakfast being the most important meal of the day and I just smile and in my head blow 'em a big raspberry!
