I was doing quite well but now feel the need of a break. I have had a lot of socialising and have eaten and drunk too much recently so feel I have let myself down somewhat. I will take a time out from recording and will be back when I have a better attitude.

Don't be so hard on yourself. We all do this. We socialise and then we feel guilty about it. Just keep smiling and think to yourself 'I have had a great time and played hard, now to work hard too'. Try and have fun with the plan you set out for yourself and you will see result quicker then if you make it a chore. Don' give up. You can do it :D

i took a month out, you may find you dont put on too much, give yourself a start date again and you will get the motivation back, but most of all enjoy the wee break

Better attitude??? You said you're having a break, not giving up, nothing wrong with your attitude at all as far as I can see. Life is for living, I agree with Tomacina, you're being way too hard on yourself. Have fun, look forward to hearing from you again soon:)

Hello again! Wow, I can't believe it has been 4 months. It is great to see all my buddies doing so well. I dare not weigh myself. I know I have put on weight. Jeans don't fit, little rolls of fat in places that used to be flat etc! I have trained hard, too many heavy weights that add to the bulky look. And, of course, I have eaten too much. But I have got to stop the rot before Christmas, so here goes.
