For me, if I eat too many carbs (especially grains) and not enough protein, I am always hungry no matter how many calories I eat. If I am sticking to non-meat based proteins I usually try to eat a ton of fiberous vegetables like eggplant, pumpkin, or fruits like strawberries, papaya, grapes or watermelon to fill me up.

I am no expert, although I have dieted my entire adult life...but try eating Kashi go lean...it's filled with fiber and protein. I made a great recipe this week with quinoa that is filling.. http://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/2013/04/crunchy-cashew-thai-quinoa-salad-with-ginger-peanut-dressing/ Good luck to us all!

Listen to BELLA69167. You're hungry...and that's counterproductive. The weight won't come off and stay off (I speak from experience). Stay fed. Fiber (from clean, whole food) is your friend. You can even make faux 'creamy' soups by replacing a recipe's cream with nonfat evaporated milk. Do what's necessary to feel satiated, especially if you're working out too, to keep metabolism revved!

It looks like the spinning combined with the type of carbohydrates may have not filled in the void today. Try more protien throughout the day and mono / poly fats in the am :)

Thanks for all the tips! I will definitely look for more ways to incorporate protein into my diet... I hate feeling hungry and the point of all this is to feel healthy.

Are you consuming any artificial sweeteners? I quit using Sweet N Low and Equal. The craving to constantly eat is GONE. I like sweetened tea. It's taking some getting used to drinking it without any sweetener at all, but it's worth it not to be hungry all the time.
