I was just standing in the mirror in my underwear getting ready to put on my workout clothes, and I zoned in on my thighs. Scary!!! Ripples, dimples, and jiggles. I have so much weight left to lose. What the hell are my thighs going to look like when I'm 30,40,70 pounds down? Can I prevent loose, saggy skin?

Well, I'm weight training, but is that really going to tighten my skin as I lose weight? Why do some people seem firm after they lose weight, and some look flabby? I wonder if there are certain exercises that help with this.

I think people that have been obesefor a long time and loose tons of weight have the saggy skin problem, like kingkeld. I think a litttle sag is to be expected after we stretch out our bodies!

I've heard that losing slowly, not doing it super quickly, can help with the sagging. But, it's hard once you are eating right and exercising not to lose quickly. I gained over 50 lbs. when I was pregnant, lost a lot quickly after my son was born and still have a sagging skin on my belly. For me though, I know I'll never wear a bikini, but I know I can lose some of the fat and still be happy with myself even with a little sag. Wink I think doing your weight training and doing toning exercises will help you keep the sag away. Good luck!!
Goals for 2018:
Do 20 consecutive push-ups
Use 10 lb. weights for a whole workout
Get one mile pace under 11 mins.
Get stronger physically and mentally

Unfortunately there is no way to tell if your skin will or will not sag after losing a significant amount of weight. It depends on how much elastin/ collagen is in your skin, genetics and like mars2kids said, how quickly you lose the weight. When you lose weight rapidly the elastin in your skin has a hard time catching up, thus leaving you with saggy skin when the weight used to be. Weight training and toning should help though! Good Luck!!!

Well I think I'll be okay. I'm losing, but not too fast and I'm weight training. Thanks
