I am very happy for everyone losing weight on this forum but I would like to try to find someone who is very similar to myself to help with the day to day weight loss.
I'm 30 y/o, not married, no kids and only want to lose about 8ish lbs just so my clothes are more comfortable. I'm in relatively good shape and eat well but I just can't frickin' lose a pound! I go to the gym and eat pretty well and the scale will just not move! I have a great sense of humor Bad Grin so am just looking for someone open to being a "buddy" in the same situation. Thanks!!

7 lbs to go isnt much! Have you tried lifting a little bit of weights and increasing your cardio by an extra ten mins a day? The last few lbs suck and are impossible to lose. its like u try every day and get no where. I cut back 100 calories a day and increased cardio by 10 min a day. That got me over the hump of being at a stand still... then i started lifting a lot more to tone up.

Amber you look amazing! Thanks for your input! I've been doing the stairstepper but it seems like if I do that for more than like 3 days in a row, my pants already get tight around the thighs... maybe i'll have to switch to the eliptical.

Yeah def switch it up, the stairmaster is my arch enemy. I hate doing it but it really does kick my butt. What about jogging? You run ever?

Yes I run once in a while.I really like to run but just can't seem to find the motivation to actually do it. Need to get my butt in gear!

jgecox, I sent you a buddy request. I think we have similar goals. I'm 29, getting married in December, no kids. I have ~15 lb to lose. I think it's always harder to lose weight when you're close to your ideal weight already. In the last half a year or so I feel off my exercise routine, so trying to get back to it now.

Hi there! I feel like we're similar, I'm 28 and need to lose like ~15... I was down before, like... I lost a total of 50, but came back up so, can't have that... I have just started to train to begin running but I'm really a terrible runner... so... I try to stay motivated! Smile Hope you can too but from your picture you look very in shape so good job! Smile

Got to get serious
You can do it - don't give up! The key for me is to relentlessly weigh and measure everything I put in my mouth. And log it completely honestly. And bulk up all my meals with lots of veggies.

Looking
Im hanging in there but have read about someone losing 77lb in 3 months. I just wonder how that was done. Mine looks miserable compared to that.
