Hi all,

I've been using the app on my phone for a few weeks now and I love it. It makes keeping track of what I eat very simple.

I've found it helpful to calculate the per/serving nutritional information on the recipes we tend to make all the time. I've entered several into the database as new foods (with a brand name krouse) and this has worked great for me. I'm even considering making custom bar codes to tape into the cookbooks we use. Smile

Anyway, my wife just signed up with the app, but she can't see any of the foods that I've entered. I noticed that when you enter a new food you can chose to share it with the community, but it says this only works for name brands. Is there any way for me to "share" the foods I've created with my wife, or will she have to enter them individually under her profile?

Thanks!

You can copy other people's meals by opening their food diary on the relevant day. On the right hand side it says "Copy krousea's meal or favorite food". Done!

How do you open someone else's diary? Does she have to be my "buddy" for that to work? Also, does that have to be done online rather than through the Adroid App?

Thanks!

Click on the persons profile (name). Go to food diary, chose a day, chose the meal you want to copy. It doesn't work through the app, you can only copy foods that you have eaten yourself recently.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. It's a bit clumsy, but it works. It's too bad that she can't just somehow access the foods that I've added. The best thing for her to do is probably add the foods herself to her own profile.
