That's true. Anyone with bad intentions could have access. But just like any online site, don't reveal any information that would reveal financial information or address information. And be wary of anyone who asks for your personal information - no matter how friendly you become with that person. ~JoyAlways~

I suppose it depends upon how you define bad intentions.

As with any Internet site, the rule of thumb is a modicum of common sense when including personal information about yourself and your family.

If identity theft is among your concerns, obviously full name, address, social security number, and driver's license might be unwise entries on your journal. Smile

Seriously, though, there are probably more risks inherent in using email, online banking, and shopping online.

At the bottom of the page is a link for "Contact" where you can advise the administrators of the site if you suspect something is awry. They have the ability to block an IP and/or a block of IP addresses.

You're in control of what you post and what you share on this site. You also have the option to not share information under my account preferences.

The tools on this site invaluable, and my buddies have been priceless.

If you have specific concerns, you may want to address them directly to the administrators of the site (again, use "contact" at the bottom of the page).
