Water Bottle

I wanted to share the info on this new water bottle my daughter baught me. I love it! It is called "INTAK" by THERMOS. Here is what it is like:
.it holds 20 oz.
.BPA free
.has a snap shut lid that you press a button and it easily pops open and flips to the back
.snaps shut tight with a little lock if need be
.has a ring to clip on to stuff
.has a normal drinking water spout(no sucking or sipping!)
.has a dial with #'s up to 6 so each time you drink it empty you slide the dial to keep count if you really did drink half your weight in water for the day!
woohoo I love it! It doesn't leak, it holds nicely in the palm of your left or right hand and it is only $9.99 at Target but I am sure you could find it elsewhere.

I have no excuses to not keep track now LOL!

i appreciate this. i was actually on amazon, looking at water bottles (i lost my very good plain old fashioned tupperware water bottle 6 months ago and have gone through probably 6 replacements that i disliked since then) when i got frustrated and decided to check the forums for a break. googled the water bottle you mentioned, read the description, and told the baby's dad that when he's done at work tonight, he needs to pop into target for me. (Well, it's RIGHT next door to his work..same shopping center even!) this will mean no more open cups of water on the treadmill! =)

I love my cheapie little rubbermaid one I picked up at Safeway. I had a couple in the old style that you could get in a 3-pack at Target, but the flip top on those didn't lock tightly enough and I nearly ruined my iphone when one spilled in my purse! Dishwasher safe (an absolute must for me), a wide mouth for ice or lemon, measurements on the side so you can keep track of how much you're drinking, a little handle for easier carrying and a tiught seal with no leaks (ever after several trips through the dishwasher). The 20 oz size is perfect for me- not too big, not too small, and perfect for a crystal light packet. Best of all, its cheap enough to buy several so I can always have a clean one ready- I think I paid 3.99 each. I've tried several other styles of water bottles, but this is by far my favorite.

Thanks for sharing!!!! Believe it or not, I just "lost" my water bottle at the gym -- someone grabbed it from one of the cubbies. It was one of my favorites, but very expensive. I didn't want to invest another $15 in a bottle only to have it taken again.

just to follow up... i did get this bottle. i love it. very simple to pop open while still walking at 3.3 mph. That's all i ever wanted from life! =)

Sounds like a cool water bottle. How does the water taste? I'm pretty picky about that. I had bought Klean Kanteen for that reason. I dislike the taste of "Plastic water". So I'm curious about this water bottle.

i just had to replace mine tho cause i left it in the car and the water froze cracking the plastic
the water taste fine no weird taste to it

I have the same one (in blue) and it has been my favorite water bottle by far!

I taste no odd taste in my water at all. I am so loving this bottle Mine is green too. My favorite color...I love being able to track how many bottles of water I drank. It has kept me accountable since I've gotten it! @confusedane...I am glad you like it as much as me!

yup. the water tastes exactly the same as it does in a cup. =).

and mines purple, MY favorite color. makes me a little happier, when i'm about to die working out, to see purple. =P
