Okay, Maybe I'm missing something here... But how much is a serving? Like... In the recipe, it says 1 serving is so-so calories. But it never tells you how much eat serving is. Is there a basic serving size?

There isn't. Look at the yield of the recipe, how many servings there are in total. If it says there are four servings, then 1/4 of the yield is your serving size. =)

Also, sometimes you will see 1 serving and it will list the number of grams per serving. I just google it. I also have a food scale that will measure in grams or ounces, a great little $29 investment at target.

i just joined and i notice the recipes dont' give the serving size also. i have a food scale and some i can't even see what the grams are to measure. i know that some are easy to know as in if it is 2 or 3 of something but when you get in the 20 serving size. it is a HUH? like 2 cups of fried rice is 20 serivngs. how can that be? that would be some very small serving of the 2 cups of rice since using 1 cup of rice in another recipe is only 2 servings.

The recipes have the ingredients listed in blue (hyperlinks). If you click on any one ingredient, it gives the nutrition label for that ingredient. At the top of the label is the definition of one serving. For example I submitted a recipe for chicken soup. The first ingredient is "1 serving green bell pepper." If you click on it, the nutrition label comes up and says that in this case one serving equals one whole pepper. My next ingredient is "1 serving taco seasoning." If you click on that, you will see that in this recipe 1 serving equals 1 Tb. I hope this helps. The system is a little awkward. I wish the recipes would list the quantities of each ingredient so you would not have to click on each one. Shari.
