I have started eating apples and oatmeal both things I have never incorporated into my diet before. The old adage of "eat an apple a day keeps the doctor away" replays in my mind every time I eat one. It is said the pectin in apples and the fiber is responsible for offering the great benefits. I feel that I am starting to make some better food choices but it is a slow progression that I am determined to stay the course.

I dice an apple and mix it in a dessert bowl with 1/2 a container of 100 calorie fruit yoghurt - it's filling, tastes great and only 180 calories. I snack on the other half of the yoghurt at some other time of the day. Works great with any fruit in my opinion
