Hi Everybody, just dropping in to introduce myself. I'm Kathryn and its the 1st day of a new start. Lock down has had its challenges, slowed me down, weight piled on and have gone from being very active and eating healthy to unhealthy choices and a sedentary lifestyle. These choices are now affecting my health and this lifestyle is not sustainable, looks like the 'new norm' isn't going to be changing any time soon so I need to. Better eating, tracking calories and exercise and hopefully increased motivation.

Hi, I hope you are still progressing well. I started keto around middle of august last year and lost 44lbs so far. I would still like to lose another stone but am aware the last stone is going to be hard to shift and will just keep at it as I am finding winter months and lockdown hard to make a good progress now.
I definitely recommend taking a look at the carbs in your diet and eating the healthiest and lowest carbs to lose the most weight.

Good luck!

I see so many of us gained the Covid19. I did too. Change is so stressful. Both good and bad changes are difficult and are losses of the old ways, situations, even people. A lot of us are stress eaters. For me, it's good to recognize and grieve the losses like the loss of open and visible smiles in interactions with others, the loss of security in the fear of contracting Covid19, the inability to use my gym membership. And they say the first grieving step is denial, then anger, then depression. So to all who were able to get to the point of getting back with your preferred way of eating and shedding the Covid19 pounds gained, congratulations! To those still grieving ((and we have much in our country to grieve over), let's acknowledge our losses and take the best care of ourselves than we have the power to do. Thank God, He has given us the power to choose our actions moment by moment. Mostly, I want to remember to choose Jesus as my Savior, Protector and LORD in these tumultuous times. "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed."
