I am curious on when is it the best time to weigh yourself after starting to diet. I am afraid to start doing so for the fear of what the scale may say and fearing not being satisfied with not seeing or feeling the results. I recently just started this journey and feel that maybe in two weeks it should be acceptable or should it be done more frequently than that. I just don't want to be disappointed.

I don’t weigh myself. I go by how my clothes fit. I have OCD so weighing too often causes me to freak out over every up and down.
Good luck on your adventure!

The number on the scale is just that - a number. Perhaps useful for some, and definitely dangerous for others like me. Not OCD per se, but definitely capable of obsessing way too much over it, leading to unhealthy, unsustainable behaviour.

I find weigh-ins troublesome, as well.Sometimes weighing myself is counterproductive. I think I've followed healthy habits since my last weigh-in, yet my weight has gone up. Or I haven't weighed myself in awhile and I know my weight has gone up. At the point of deciding to shed the additional pounds, I don't weigh myself for several weeks, until I know the number on the scale will be pleasing. I don't need the scale to tell me that I've been dedicated to eating less and exercising more. Once I do weigh myself, and the result is good, I can get back into regular weekly weigh-ins to help me maintain or stay on track for more weight loss.
